Why use a silk pillowcase? Silk offers amazing qualities for skin and hair: because of its natural slip, it doesn’t tug at skin like a cotton pillowcase, and doesn’t cause frizz. And unlike cotton, silk is less apt to absorb moisture and beauty products from your skin and hair while you sleep. Please note that this item has been dyed with flowers and botanicals; like all dyes, the colour may fade or change in time. To prolong the life and colour of your Windeyer garment, we recommend storing it out of direct sunlight, and hand-washing in cold water. That said, we’ve tested these in the machine, and they hold up! Please use a mesh laundry bag and hang or lay flat to dry.
